Nehru Zoological Park is a zoo located near Mir Alam Tank in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is one of the most visited destinations in Hyderabad. Zoo hours vary by season, and the zoo is closed on Mondays.

It is a good park for kids. It will be crowded in the afternoon weekends so it is best to visit in the morning hours. It is also best to buy tickets in advance using online facility. If you dont have enough time and energy to walk around the zoo, it is best to take a buggy. It wont cost that much.

Visited the place after 2 years of covid restrictions. No major changes apart from the entry fee. Parking is the same. Big but not a major maintenance. Ticket prices is 75 for adults now and you cannot take back bags, plastic bottles and so on. Zoo was clean and animals were maintained in a good place. Safari was exciting and the journey was worth the money. Train ride for 40 rupees is another worthy shot. You get see the entire zoo in a ten minute ride. Canteen is bit overpriced and maintenance could have been better. Same goes with restrooms as well. Animal varieties are good and good place for a one day trip. Overall, worth place to spend family and kids would love this place.

Good place to visit and spending time with friends and families. Keep your food and drinks along with you. It may take 34 hours to cover the full park if you spend time to enjoy each spot . The park will be crowded on weekends so if you like less crowd then go on weekdays. The best time to visit is after 3 pm when the sunlight is low since all the activities to be done here is outdoor. There are lots of species to see and one can see the wild animals like Royal White Bengal tiger and black bageera which will amaze you when seeing from the naked eyes. Overall there will be a good experience if you are a wildlife lover.

Nice... Very nice place to visit but the only problem is to crowded place and not much to eat between. Also if you prefer to walk then please check for road map you might miss some crucial animals and you might have to revisit to see them again.One of the best place for kids to enjoy. This Zoo park is maintaining good cleaning atmosphere. They banned plastic items which is appreciated. They are ensure clean the place as well. Kids enjoyed a lot here. Visited Bengal Tiger, Lion, Hippopotamus, fox, , specially butterfly garden is very nice Used Battery operated vehicle inside the zoo. It is convenient for the people who have kids. They ride the vehicle with low speed and explained about places. Overall it was good place for spending time with family. Big park but very poorly maintained. Not as per the hype. Most of the cages were empty and dirty. Grass area was also not maintained for sitting. Covid awareness is decent. Good thing is that they do not allow plastics. Car parking is good, costs 50 rupees for 4 wheelers. Entry fee is also decent. If maintained properly, it would be a great place for picnic.
